The End & The Beginning....

It is with great sadness that I write this final post, but all good things must come to an end. Today will be the last day that I journal about my "free to be bohemian me" life. In my freedom, I've decided that keeping pieces of my life private is another part of what I've been seeking. Also, between blogging, operating BSJ, Glitter Lifestyle Boutique, Heritage Farmer's Market, and maintaining a family and friendships, my life has gotten to be busier than I've ever imagined. I'm grateful and blessed, but I've given this a lot of thought and prayer, and it is the best thing for me at this time.

I want to thank you all so much for following along with me on my journey. I hope you have learned something, laughed, cried, felt relief, or had an aha moment from something I've posted here. I'm not saying that I'll never blog again, but I feel my work is done on this blog. Sooooooooo..... Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much & God Bless!

Along came LILYA, another stumble upon, it's bohemian flair definitely drew me to it.
I think it did a good job standing out from all the trend this season, which in a sense makes it a unique brand for being different. Its Autumn/Winter 2012 collection is both comfy and practical.

Thursday| Free People + Hoss Intropia

First up today is our favorite Boho inspiration label...Free People, I have to admit that it is the one brand that you cannot be a bohemian chic without. They continue to transcend and appeal to all styles. This JULY 2012 collection reveals a rebellious attitude detailed in each piece. It is not quite a cohesive collection in the sense that everything stays true to one theme. Instead, there is patchwork, multicolor prints, jackets, blazers, and embelishments.

Hoss Intropia | Silver Line for Summer is another have-to-love collection. From the free flowing choice of fabrics to the feminine sophistication that each piece exhudes, it's hard not to feel the alluring spirit of  the summer. I like that there's a bit of everything from palazzo pants, skinny pants. draped tops, to shorts and pinted short dresses.

Out of town...

Hey there! Just wondering if anyone is out there? Sometimes I feel like I'm talking to myself...Lol! You Free Spirits have been a silent bunch lately. Hope all is going well.

Anyhoo, I'm in Cleveland, Ohio visiting family for a week. It's nice to get out of the hustle and bustle of the Los Angeles area for a while. We're staying with my Dad and I must admit I am definitely a Daddy's girl. It's nice to be spoiled a bit by my Dad....Even as an adult. I'm really hoping to visit several places on my "To Visit" list, so I'll try to sneak in a few blog posts while I'm here if possible. Anyone familiar with, or live in the Cleveland area and have any recommendations on what I should do or see while I'm here? I'm using my new Anthropologie book to guide me to a couple of cool places, and my son saw Melt Bar & Grill on the show Man vs. Food so we've already checked it out...great food by the way!

 En Route

Wore these comfy palazzo pants on the plane. Love them!

Happy Friday...

Hey there! Happy Friday! Hope you all have some fun stuff planned this weekend, or maybe you'll be doing exactly as I am....recuperating from all of the great food I ate for the 4th of July.

Anyhoo, whatever your plan are be safe & make it count!

Thursday, July 5, 2012

Well Hello....

Hope you all had a fabulous 4th of July. I spent the day with family, and then at a Fireworks show called Kaboom! Lol! I've never paid to see a fireworks show before, but it was so worth it.

Anyhoo, there's so much to tell. Lets see...I spent last weekend on a yatch celebrating my Aunts birthday. Then on Monday I caught the creative bug and decided to make some artwork for my house, and this week has been all about prepping for my summer vacay next week. Oh and I created some new jewelry for the shop. Below are a few pictures of all of the above.

What have you all been up to this summer?

Boho Chic | WildFox

First, I apologize for the late post today.
I hope you all had an amazing July 4th in the company of your family, friends, BBQ and Fireworks.
Moving on, I found this WILDFOX  S/S2012 lookbook and ad campaign to be quite the dreamy theme that it aimed to be. I think there's a flair of Boho chic meets wild wild west in each piece.
But you be the judge and let me know what you think about this collection.
