I'm a boho...

I'm a boho woman through and through. From my hair, fashion, and home decor, all the way down to the places I like to hang out and the music I listen to. I can't pinpoint exactly when the complete bohemian lifestyle transformation started, but I've always been an eclectic individual. I've always felt most naturally myself when I was wearing long colorful skirts, letting my hair do its own thing, and drinking coffee in village type towns while reading Boho magazines.

Below are just a few glimpses into my boho life. What does your life look like?

Eileen Fisher

Lately my wardrobe has been all about comfort. I thought it was just me being lazy and always wanting to wear pieces that I don't need to iron, but I found out that all my late 30's, early 40's aged girlfriends are gravitating toward the same trend. I'm figuring these fashion decisions are the result of me growing a bit wiser over the years and knowing that showing every body part doesn't always equate to being sexy. Although showing a little skin every now and then doesn't hurt :)

I've always been an Eileen Fisher fan, but her collections seemed like something I would wear when my locs were long and gray & I was definitely close to having grandchildren. Now, I think her line has evolved and appeals to women of all ages. I'm seriously ready to make a purchase...I love everything about her line!

What do you think? Would you wear any E. Fisher pieces?

Love is...

Love is...when he's 13 years old & still holds my hand in public.

Love is...when my hubby takes me out for impromptu late night cocktails & music.

Love is...when you awaken each morning & know that He has given you another day.

Back again...

So I'm back again because I just miss writing, and sharing. I don't think I'll ever go back to blogging every day, but I'd like to drop in from time to time and record my thoughts & more. It's crazy because  I actually learned how to write on this blog. Not that my writing or grammar is that good now....but it's definitely better than it was before I began sharing here.

Anyhow, life has been good. I can't complain one bit. I still feel very much "Free to be Bohemian Me," maybe even more so than before I stopped blogging here. How about you all?  I know so much can happen in one year, so I pray everyone is well. I've actually started designing jewelry again after a 1 year hiatus. Thanks to huge nudges from some great friends, I've been inspired to start creating and it has been very therapeutic as it always was for me. I'm looking forward to building a new collection of "arm candy." Slowly but surely I should have a decent amount of pieces available because summer just ain't right without the perfect boho jewelry.

Until next time...
