Since our
move a few months ago a lot has changed. Because we are now living in a loft I have to be crafty about storage options. There are
NO closets here, so that definitely was something that posed an issue when we first moved in. I went from having a walk-in closet to having a wardrobe. Not 2 or 3 wardrobes but
1! Since I've been on this whole less is more kick {which I truly love by the way}, I've scaled down tremendously. I realized that my old closet was filled with stuff that I rarely ever wore and really didn't need. Anyhow, through the process of decluttering I've gotten rid of 70+ pairs of shoes, goo gobs of clothing, and sold most of my designer handbags. Believe it or not I feel like a weight has been lifted. I now only own things that I actually wear and it all {amazingly} fits in my
1 Ikea wardrobe.
Well last night I did an overhaul on my wardrobe to make sure I was re-hoarding again and I was...Lol! I bagged up 3 grocery sacks of stuff that I wasn't wearing and donated them this morning! I also had my little guy do the same. I now have room to purchase a few new Autumn staples...hehehehe :)
My wardrobe open
New Items I'd love to add for Fall...

Myisha, would you believe I also just purchased the shoes...from Marshalls.
ReplyDeletethat cardigan looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhen you are ready to donate that purple, white and grey diamond print top, I will gladly take it off your hands :)
ReplyDeleteI actually made out when we moved to the new place, I got my OWN closet, which I have been hoarding lots of fun vintage finds in. I also like to hide my fabric store finds in there too... SHHH.. don't tell my hubby :)
Nothing like classic style... I've owned footwear like that twice in my life. Hmmm, maybe I should go for a third time. ;)
ReplyDeleteMichaela I may be getting rid of it soon. Lol!
ReplyDeleteItiel, I've been wanting some of those shoes for a while. Found them at tar-jay for close to nothing :)))))
