A few days ago I was thinking about the things I wanted to add and eliminate in the new year. I've always stated that I don't make resolutions, but I do love the thought of reducing and/or fine tuning certain things at the beginning of a new year. A "fresh start" as we seem to love to call it. Anyhoo, I got a jump start on one of the things I wanted to eliminate and that was facebook. As of last week I had 700 friends on facebook (umm...yeah) and now I'm down to 33! Just family and a few very close friends. The only reason I kept my personal page at all was to keep my BSJ "Like" page up. Apparently you can't have a business page on facebook and not have a personal page attached. So while I love interacting with my clients on FB through my business page, I was slowly becoming detached from my personal page. Quite frankly I was spending too much time reading what was going on in other folks lives and is it really any of my damn business to know who got a divorce, whose relatives passed on, blah blah blah. There are several other reasons I decided to disconnect as well, but I won't bore you. Soooooooo if you were a friend on my personal page please don't be upset...but you can still stay updated on new baubles, and other good stuff on the LIKE page.
Last night as I was reading the WonderfullyMade blog I found THIS post...I guess several people feel the way I do. What about you...are you getting tired of facebook, do you spend too much time on it, or are you handling it all just fine?
I took a year off fb then eliminated a lot of friends when I reactivated. I like your style.

Funny how the more and more I talk to people I'm hearing the same thing. Thanks for commenting :)
