Non-stop

Hey lovelies! Hope all is well with you all. Just dropping in to let you know that I'm still around. My life has been moving at top speed lately. Between running the farmers markets, opening up an art studio for A Toast 2 Artistry, and maintaining my duties as a Mom and Wife, life has been insanely full. But, I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's the life I've created, the life I've always wanted, and the life I truly love. I just take it one day and a time with a bit of planning mixed in. ;)

Anyhoo, I was interviewed by Mater Mea Magazine sometime last year and the article was released on their site this month. I shared with them how my husband and I started Heritage Farmers Market and some other things about myself and my journey to where I am now. You can read the article here. I think this article captures the fullness of my life and why it is so non-stop.

What's non-stop in your life currently? How do you maintain?

A Mini Break...

Hey there! It's been a while. I didn't go far, but I did take a mini pause. I've found that sometimes the pressure of blogging can become overwhelming. I want to continue to update this blog because I love doing it and because it's my journal of sorts. But, I do want to remain authentic in what I post. I'm a firm believer that your readers can sense when you are just posting to post. I definitely don't want to get into the habit of doing that. So with that being said, please excuse the pause...However I may need to take those every now and then.

Anyhoo, last week I was in serious worker bee mode. My business partner ran a marathon on Saturday (kudos to her), and we had a private A Toast 2 Artistry party the same day, so I was on my own....Boy was that exhausting! But with the help of my son, and my assistant, we got it done! Also, the hubs and I are opening 3 new farmers markets in the next 6 weeks and there is so much to be done prior to the openings. We currently own and operate 1, and have never operated more than 2 at a time, so please pray for us as we journey into what God has lead us to do. We are excited, grateful, and amazed by our blessings. Sometimes we really just can't believe it! I'm so thankful to be able to do the things I love. After working in a corrections facility for 12 years, I never thought I'd finally be doing all the creative things I desired to do. I praise His name daily! Whew...Okay, I had a moment. Lol!

Below are just some random pics of what's been happening. Hope you all have been well. I'll be doing a blog stroll today to catch up with everyone.

Lately...

Hey there! I can't even wrap my head around the fact that Christmas is in 4 days! And guess what??? I haven't done ANY shopping....Ugh! I do this mess every year and of course I'm jam packed with stuff to do and have been super busy over the last 5 days or so.  I may be able to squeeze in some shopping time before Church tomorrow and Monday morning while my little guy is asleep. I imagine if I didn't have a million and one jobs, and a super active social life (thanks hubby) I could do things in a timely manner. Oh well, such is life.

Anyhoo, please don't take my whining and complaining seriously....I'm super grateful for this life that God has given me, and every now and then I just feel like yapping a bit. Lol! But I have been crazy busy, and if you follow me on Instagram then you've probably seen me posting often over the last couple of weeks. Below are a few pictures of a new venture I'm apart of called A Toast 2 Artistry. I co-own this wonderfully fun art & wine event with my girlfriend Monica and this has kept me quite busy lately. Below are some pics from a few of our events and some of my random Instagram pictures too!

Have a great weekend!
