Things that make me happy....

Hey there! Hope everyone had a great weekend. We finally got some rain here in Southern California, so that was nice. I had to cancel our farmers market on Friday because the rain got a little too heavy, so that was a bummer. But Stella and I had a chance to get tons of work done that evening. You may notice a little straightening up here on the blog....What do you think? Kinda girly huh? I'll probably be changing it again soon....I'm so indecisive. Lol!

Anyhoo, Sip n' Shop Girls' Night Out is this Friday and I'm super excited. I hope some of you can join in on the fun. I am so happy that I'll be sipping, shopping, and socializing with some fabulous women in 3 days, plus below are a few other things that are also making me happy. Enjoy!

Things that make me happy....

It still feels like summer here in Southern California, but when the fall whether does show up....I'll be ready! Here are a few things that make me yearn for fall weather and also make me happy.

Things that make me happy.....

Happy tuesday! I've found myself feeling a bit overwhelmed with work and family stuff lately. I've been listening to my body and turning in a little earlier than I normally would at night. I must say that sleep really does help!....Lol! So after a full weekend of activities including wine tasting on friday with my mother, date night with the hubby on friday evening (love date nights!!!), entertaining 20 of our closest friends and family at our loft on saturday, and preparing for the arrival of my father from Ohio on sunday, it has been an eventful weekend. Can you believe in between all that I've managed to make jewelry, ship orders, and get lots of Sip n' Shop, Girls Night Out prep work done. Whew!

Anyhow, weekend fun and work always make me smile because I'm grateful for family and friends and I'm really happy to be doing what I love! But there are a few other things that are currently making me happy and keeping me smiling as well...

Things that make me happy...

Hey there! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was a bit disturbing because I attended a birthday gathering on Friday evening at The Edison Lounge Downtown Los Angeles and found out on Sunday morning that they had charged me $350 for a $20 purchase! I'm still dealing with this mess, and they have been very nonchalant about the whole incident. They have even blamed me for attending a birthday gathering and not knowing whose credit card had been put up for party expenses. I've been nothing short of pissed-off and have yet to get this resolved. I'll keep you posted.

Anyhoo, my Mother insisted that I go to the L.A. County Fair on Sunday afternoon to cheer up and it actually worked! So what's currently making me happy is realizing that money can be replaced, but special times with family can't. Below are some pictures of my day out with my mother, sister, and son at the fair.
