Happy friday...

This week has been a busy one for me and the weekend is just what I've been waiting for. Although I don't have any grand plans, I do plan on getting some R&R since the weather has cooled off and is somewhat reminiscent of fall. I will be working a bit, but at least the pressure of finishing my new collection is off because it is finally done! Now all I need to do is clean my disasterous office, update the website, and send out the newsletter. Speaking of my newsletter...Have you signed up yet? Happy Weekend...

I'm a little late with this, but I hope you all have a wonderfully fantastic weekend! Mine has already been a blast so far as we opened our loft for the first time last night and let complete strangers in. Sounds crazy right??!! Lol! Well the city we live in hosted a wine walk where everyone walks through the neighborhood and samples wine (provided by a local winery) at participating shops and boutiques in the area. Several of the businesses in our building were participating, so we knew tons of folks would be in front of our door wondering what the heck type of business we were...So we opened up our door and met some very interesting and gracious folks. A few of my girlfriends also came by to hang out which made it an even better evening. My hubby and I have been working super hard to make our space comfy and cozy which can be difficult to do in a loft. It was so nice to receive feedback...everyone loved our place, and it just let us know that we were moving in the right direction toward creating an inviting atmosphere where people felt comfortable. We love to entertain, so that's very important to us.

Anyhoo, the rest of my weekend will be about work. I've created several pieces for my fall collection and now it is time to actually choose which ones will make the cut. Yikes! I'll see all of you free spirits back here on Monday!
