  1. First I have to tell you how many compliments I have heard about my bird earrings. I love them.
My best memory of 2010 was starting the road to starting my own sewing/crafting business. It has been bumpy with lots of curves but being able to craft for work has been awesome so far. Thanks again.

  2. Absolutely stunning!

My most memorable moment of 2010 was when I delivered a workshop presentation to a national audience at the National Association of Independent School's People of Color Conference. I felt completely in my element, and, I was wearing my "Tree of Life" bracelet!

  3. My best memory in 2010 was getting a manicure at Mani-Kir Royale back in May and meeting some of the ladies in the Backyard Boutique Party Network. I had not had a manicure since I got married 5 years ago. I definitely felt like a princess.

  4. My fondest memory of 2010 is the beginning of figuring out my life's purpose. I'm still on the journey, but I've never felt more peaceful than I have.

  6. My best memory was when the founder of the biggest pancreatic cancer organization came to Jazz to the Heart to meet me. We just looked at one another and gave each other a big hug...we both knew that what we are doing is great. Both of our mothers died from pancreatic cancer the same year.

  7. My best memory of 2010 is when I (and daughters) gave my King a surprise 40th party. The girls and I planned this party 3 months out. Being a super close knit family, it was difficult to keep the surprise under wraps, but we did it. The part that touched me the most, is that everyone that was invited came;when invited everyone said, "Absolutely Yes", right away. People from Philly and GA, too. On the day of the surprise, my King was so touched. You could see it in his eyes, and his emotions were palpable. I had to go to a friend's house to cook the meal (island style) for the guest . He was so surprised about the food, because he did not smell it cooked in our home, nor stored in our refrigerator. I want forget that night, that moment in time.

  8. Thanks so much for offering such lovely pieces to be given away! My most memorable moment in 2010 would most undoubtedly be my first BIG CHOP (I cut off all of my long hair)! For all of my life, I've had very long, nice hair and with that hair, I hid behind it. Even when I didn't get compliments about my "physical appearance", I would always get great compliments about my hair. Over the years, I've gained weight due to emotional stress & just forgetting about "me" period. When I cut my hair, it felt as if alot of "dead weight" was lifted off of my shoulders. It gave me a sense of freedom, comfort, and peace, knowing that I am "Shenina" regardless if I have long hair or no hair! So doing my BIG CHOP was a BIG, memorable moment for me in 2010! :-)

  9. My most memorable 2010 moment is when my aunts adopted daughter found her
It was such a great time meeting and conversing with her for the first time. I knew she was a Johnson based on all her freckles, lol since they are popular generation to generation. My cousin and I talked for hours into the wee hours of the morning. Just being able to get to know her and her know me was a moment in time I will never forget. I will cherish that moment always. We exchanged contact info and vowed to keep in touch and visit one another.

  12. Realizing that I COULD succeed at my business. I love sewing and I enjoyed my time home during the summer of 2010. I can't wait to do it again in 2011. Hopefully, I will have the courage and the faith like you to let go of working for someone and work full time for myself!

  15. My most memorable moment of 2010 was walking out to the lobby in my doctoral graduation procession. My family was waiting with big smiles; my uncle picked me up in the air and swung me around, my mom looked as though she had been crying, and my son had flowers to give me and told me he was proud I was a doctor! priceless
