How did you all celebrate the New Year?
Well my family and I drove up to Northern California and spent the New Year in San Francisco. We didn't have specific plans, but we knew that we wanted to be in the city on New Year's eve. We adore San Francisco (dwellings, shopping, diversity, etc.), so we decided to drive up and spend a week to really enjoy the city. First we did a bit of shopping in the Fillmore District. My Husband and Father were elated to finally make it to the ultra-cool boutique Brooklyn Circus SF. If you are ever in San Fran...I highly recommend you stop by BKCircus. The store is super cool, the people friendly, and the clothes are reasonable and undeniably HOT. They even shouted me out on twitter for dropping by the store. (cheesing again). I picked up a great tee, and my hubby and dad got some nice shirts and socks. On New Year's eve we rode the B.A.R.T. into San Francisco and watched the fireworks on Pier 39. It was so crowded, but so much fun! Then on Sunday afternoon, we were able to catch a matinee show (kids allowed :) and watched Lalah Hathaway perform at Yoshi's Jazz Club in Oakland. She's so dang talented! I've posted some pics below :)

A beautiful picture of you and Lalah. The Warrior Princesses think that is so cool;considering they heart her and her father. Your celebration sound amazingly fun (stuff my family and I like to do). All the pictures are fun and inviting. I do welcome in 2011! We did not do much this year. We chilled and watched the festive happenings on tv. Our spiritual new year comes in the spring (looking forward to that). All the best this year, M. Looking forward to the giveaway. I'll be having one also...celebrating 100 blog followers. Hope to see you there. ;o)
