Happy Friday!

Hey there! Well, the weekend is finally here and I am quite happy about it! My Dad is in town from Cleveland and I haven't seen him in a year, so I can't wait to hang with him this weekend. We have several things planned, including celebrating my lil' guys 14th birthday on Saturday which is going to be super fun! We're definitely gonna do some shopping because my Dad loves to get his Cali shop on when he's in town, and like always we'll dine out more than we should.

Anyhoo, I hope you lovelies enjoy your weekend. The weather has been quite unpredictable everywhere lately, so whatever you do....stay safe and warm. :)

The Weekend

Hey there! Hope you all had a good weekend. I did more than I had expected to do this weekend. I'm such a home body and I always look forward to being on my couch with a good book and a blanket, or watching an old movie with a cup of hot cocoa and snacks. Buuuut when you have a husband like mine who has lots of friends and is very social, then there is always something to do on the weekend. Lol!

Anyhoo, I got my lazy "A" in gear and we had a very nice weekend. On Saturday morning we ran errands and then headed over to my friend Marie's studio, Unearth Malee where she handcrafts organic soap and candles and sells beautiful finds from Taiwan. She held an Asian Bazaar event which showcased fair trade merchandise and of course her decadent products. It was right up my ally with all of the ethnic artisan merchandise, chai tea, henna tattooing, and the aroma of sandalwood and eucalyptus wafting through her space. I sipped my chai and chatted with other ladies, shopped, and introduced my hubby to some of my "boho" circle of friends. He was so patient as I took my time and soaked in everything. I really adore Marie and her studio and hope to have a place of my own one-day to handcraft my jewelry and other DIY projects.

Later that evening we headed out to H.O.M.E. in Beverly Hills. One of the hubs college buddies had an event there, and it turned out to be quite nice. Jill Scott actually did an impromptu performance after we left {insert sad face}. It is definitely a grown and sexy type of spot.

Then there's Sunday....my favorite day! Church, family time, farmers market runs and just chilling with my two favorite guys. *bliss

What did you free spirits do this weekend?

Catching up...

Happy Friday! Life has been crazy busy & I'm just trying to keep it all together...As much as one woman can do. Stay tuned next week as I ramp up my blog posts and resume the Bohemian Business Spotlights...Yay! I want to thank you all so much for reading my little blog and following along on this journey with me since the beginning. I know you don't always comment {ahem..I mean never comment but I know you are reading thanks to the blogger stats ;)} I've gone from a full-time employee, to a self-employed jewelry designer, to a brick and mortar owner and you all have been there every step of the way and I am truly thankful for you. Life is sweet, exciting, unpredictable, challenging and my all time favorite...Life is what you make it!

Please feel free to email me if you feel aligned with me in some way, or have a similar story. I love when I receive an email from someone telling me that they have been through several of the same things I have...{smile}. Or if you just have questions or comments that are more personal, I welcome you to contact me. {bohemianspiritjewelry@gmail.com} I've met some of my closest cyber sister through emails, networking and just reaching out to connect with people who are kindred spirits :) I just had a lightbulb blog post moment...I'll share later.

Have a great weekend everyone!
