Eggs & Organization....
A while back I posted about using unusual items as jewelry catchers. I've been in love with the way ceramic egg crates have been used recently for holding jewelry. Well I finally found one that I liked and it was priced right. I got it at Crate&Barrel for only $6!!! That's good, right? I only purchased one for now, but I have plans to get a few more once my office/studio re-organization project is finished. I'll share more on that later, but I'm super excited to have someone come in and clean house! I'm a fairly tidy person, but I must admit that I can use a de-cluttering session or two throughout my home. Anyhow, the recent egg crate purchase just symbolizes the organization that I'm looking forward to having...simple, tidy, and clean!
I love it! My mom used to use egg crates to store her jewelry back in the day too! Now, we use the chicken wire and wood combo to store earrings. We wrap it w/ African Kente cloth and sometimes glue shells to them--beautiful and fully functional.
