I seriously can't believe it's been almost 1 month since I've posted here. Life just happens and then this California weather just makes you want to be out and about all of the time...lol! Anyhoo, I hope you all have been well. I've been working, living, celebrating, and mothering a lot lately. I just celebrated my 40th birthday a few weeks ago....What an amazing weekend! I really feel like I stepped into my forties with a bang! I've been doing TONS of self work...I mean really just working on being a better me and I can definitely see some positive changes. Not that I was some kind of monster before, however we all have our issues and I definitely have things I struggle with that I must work on daily. So, through lots of prayer and discipline, I've been able to be a better me little by little. There's still work to be done, but I feel stronger, kinder, and happier than I ever have been.
Now with all these happy feelings and self work has come a great need to nurture and reward myself, which has turned into lots of spa treatments and shopping lately. Eek! I thought I'd share some of my recent purchases with you guys {yes, there were others}, and of course I'm in LOVE with everything...Lol! Isn't that normally the case though?

ReplyDeleteI've found that when I took time off from blogging for a month, I returned a better person...and I wasn't a monster either but I think you need a break sometimes to rediscover yourself and spend time with yourself without sharing with the world what you're doing.
Congrats on the big 4-0! You don't look a day over 25 :D and yes, I do mean that! And that dress you wore for your birthday was oooooo girl!!!
